Ideas / Suggestion for Low Vision

My wife & I are both legally blind. Her vision is much worse than mine.
Allow me to post some suggestions...

Maybe on that first night, let them know if there is a disability related need, they CAN "SPEAK: to their table leader if needed
Whenever possible try seating them close to areas where they need to view screens.
Offer them the LARGE PRINT purple book.Other materials in large print are helpful too.

SCREENS (Songs) Try to use a dark shroud behind white text. I can post an example if needed.

In the world of low vision / legally blind conditions will vary. If the pilgrim is comfortable talking about it, ask them if there are specific things they need or things the staff / volunteers can do to make them as comfortable as possible.

In my case GREAT lighting is a major benefit.
